Heater/Cooler Magnetic Base

The Dimension Icon Heater/Cooler magnetic base contains three Neodymium Iron Boron magnets that attach to the chuck base. In addition to the magnets, two screws also hold the Heater/Cooler to the chuck base.

Three additional magnets attach the Heater/Cooler base to the magnetic stainless steel gas ring. An internal fluid reservoir coupled to an external cooling system is used to extract heat from the Peltier element in the heater/cooler. A thermocouple is used to monitor the reservoir fluid temperature.
